Poldo Piccolo Baranzate

The Poldi Pezzoli Museum offers tours and activities in order to fight school dropout, and educational poverty of children and families. In particular, since 2019 the activity has focused in the municipality of Baranzate with the Kiriku a scuola di inclusione project, developed in partnership with the La Rotonda Association, the Bracco Foundation, the Centro Diagnostico Italiano, the Municipality of Baranzate, the Istituto Comprensivo “Gianni Rodari” in Baranzate, the “Sant’Arialdo” Parish and the Politecnico di Milano-TIRESIA.
Poldo Piccolo Baranzate
A three-year project to combat educational poverty in the multi-ethnic municipality of Baranzate

The project was created to combat educational poverty through activities aimed at children under 6. The Museum proposed specific itineraries based on the fairy tale Poldo Piccolo.
During the period of forced closure, the project was not interrupted: the Museum came to Baranzate thanks to a rapid adaptation of the activities, which were redesigned to be carried out in schools and families. A video and an innovative text were designed and produced: Poldo the Little Ghost.
The words of the museum, designed to enrich the vocabulary of foreign children and their parents with playful-educational activities, translated into many languages (Sinhalese, Arabic, Spanish, Chinese).

L'immagine è un dettaglio del dipinto di San Michele di Piero della Francesca e raffigura un angelo dipinto, con capelli ricci biondi, vestito con abiti decorati, su sfondo blu cielo e ala bianca visibile.
