The Restoration of the Golden Room
The Museo Poldi Pezzoli and the World Monuments Fund join forces for an extraordinary restoration. An international partnership to restore the museum’s centrepiece to its original form. The recovery of the Golden Room also marks the launch of World Monuments Fund Italia.

Golden Room Restoration: changes to the visitor route
The restoration works in the Golden Room require the temporary closure of some of the museum’s galleries.
All the masterpieces from the Golden Room remain on view in the Collector’s Room.
We apologise for any inconvenience. Until the room reopens in September, admission is available at a reduced ticket price.

On the occasion of the exhibition Piero della Francesca. The reunited Augustinian Polyptych from 20 March the opening hours of the Poldi Pezzoli Museum will be extended until 7.30 pm (last admission 6.30 pm).
