Teens and Museum
In 2015, the Museum started a collaboration with the Servizio Educativo Adolescenti (SEA) of the Municipality of Milan and the Centro per la Giustizia Riparativa and Mediazione Penale to provide an opportunity for children aged 11 to 16 at risk of marginalization to broaden their cultural experiences in their growth as citizens.
With the City of Milan for teenagers in need
Special guided tours were designed to enjoy the artistic heritage. The results are encouraging: the participants have improved their interpersonal skills, and educators have seen positive repercussions in their attitude at school.
With the museums’ closure in March 2020, the visits have turned into walks around the museum aimed at exploring the area where the collector Gian Giacomo Poldi Pezzoli lived.
Legality education workshops
The Museum participated in a series of workshops, organized by the City of Milan and addressed, in virtual mode, to three classes of the city’s secondary schools. The topics covered by the workshops were: learning to read an image and prevention of cyber-bullying.
